How do you survive in a world that tries to slowly poison your mind?
The Christian life is not easy. We are bombarded with difficult temptations every day by a media and advertisers that are relentless. But we have to guard our thoughts, or we can easily fall in line with the world system.

Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts.
What is the solution?
My primary solution is to dig into God’s word and pray continually. I must ask God to give protection to my mind (Ephesians 6:14-18 ), and for the fruits of the spirit to be what I think about (Galatians 5:23-24).
It also helps to deliberately surround myself with like-minded people who can support me. That’s why blogging is so helpful. I have met the most wonderful people online, people who lift each other up, who pray for each other, and encourage each other on a daily basis. There are ideas you bring up that I never would have thought about, without blogging. And I think we hold each other accountable.
