Do Great Things

courage

I love to hear the stories of how God uses people to accomplish His goals. Often those people start out in the direst of circumstances. Then I hear that God wants to use me. However, because we are afraid or don’t believe in ourselves we don’t try. That sort of thinking limits God.

John 14:12

Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

God has created each one of us individually, uniquely, for a purpose.

 Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

The word prosper means to be successful or fortunate, especially in financial respects; thrive; flourish (dictionary.com)

God wants to bless us, but we need to follow God’s lead. God will bless us if we are acting in His will.

Philippians 2:13

For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose

Have the courage to work for God. Ask Him to show you a project, and then start that project in prayer, seeking the Lord’s will. Return to seek His guidance frequently. We are not spiritual nobodies. We are God’s children. He will guide us to accomplish great things for Him.

 Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

May you accomplish much for God!
