God Sings for You

 One of my favorite verses is

Zephaniah 3:17

The Lord your God is with you,

the Mighty Warrior who saves.
He will take great delight in you;

in his love he will no longer rebuke you,
but will rejoice over you with singing.”

Imagine the Lord rejoicing over you. Imagine Him singing for you. God’s love is so great He sings for you!

I don’t know what circumstances you may be facing. But I do know that we can face those troubles with a God who loves us so deeply, He sings for us.

Consider God’s great love for you today. Sing back to Him in praise and worship. Let His love put a smile on your face. You can face the day.

Psalm 33:3

Sing to him a new song;

play skillfully, and shout for joy.

Philippians 4:4-7

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Blessings on your day.

  1. I have always loved that passage from Zephaniah! It is truly astounding, if you think about it. What does the singing voice of God sound like?

  2. Love this. The only bit of writing I”ve sold was talking about this verse tied to Hebrews 2:12 where Jesus is singing to God in the midst of the church.
    When you combine the two, you get the impression heaven will be the greatest concert of all time with everyone being both audience and musician. What a thought!

      • I’m a musician, I’ve been looking forward to my 8′ Grand in heaven for a long time and my whole family sings. Finding verses showing my dream isn’t that far off from the truth (there *are* at least harps up there, too) was super exciting.
