Staying Humble

Psalm 115

Not to us, Lord, not to us
but to your name be the glory,
because of your love and faithfulness.

I spoke to a marketing representative yesterday. This is the part of the process I am uncomfortable with. I don’t know who God wants to read Follow the Light. I really just want to trust that God will put it in those people’s hands. But God uses people to do His work. The marketing rep reminded me that people have to know the Bible Study will be available in October. That means I have to do something else. It has to be marketed.

There will be book signings, interviews, a launch party… all things that can make a person get prideful and arrogant.

Where is humility in a marketing campaign?

The glory must always go to God alone. He was with me as I researched every topic, typed every page, selected each Scripture and edited the final manuscript. I could not have produced it without His constant guidance and help.

Give God the glory in everything you do.

Habakkuk 2:14

For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.

  1. Praying with you for God’s direction in the process. And knowing He will be glorified because you are faithful. I’m excited to see what God is going to do through this venture, my friend.
