Ten Arguments for the Existence of God

“God writes the gospel not in the Bible alone, but on trees and flowers and clouds and stars.”  Martin Luther

When I have the opportunity to talk to an atheist, I’m always surprised they don’t see God. After all, God’s fingerprints are everywhere. I find it helpful to be prepared for these chance conversations. Yes, I want to witness, but I want to get the conversation started first. So, I’ve come up with a list of Ten Arguments for the existence of God. What would you add to the list?

  1. Water/Rain
  2. Music
  3. New Born Babies
  4. Color
  5. Taste buds
  6. Language/Speech
  7. Eyesight
  8. Butterflies
  9. Gravity
  10. The Brain

Psalm 104:24

“Lord, you have made so many things! How wisely you made them all! The earth is filled with your creatures.”

Genesis 2:1 “Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array.”

  1. I was just considering the beauty we share in Christ. And I found it facinating that every time I consider what I know of Him, I find myself desiring to deliver this same joy with those who don’t know Him. It’s curious because I can’t share what He gives. It’s not possible. But one can’t worship the Living God without that recognition that there are others who are not present in our worship. Sadly, yet the Glory of God to ordain it, each man must come to His Holy Throne alone. In the end, we are left with the pathetic results of our testimony regarding what is absolutely invisible to them.

May God be Glorified in all He does. He is faultless. But how the soul aches to deliever the joy of salvation to all men.

May God bless the words He has delivered to you that your efforts may not be fruitless. Blessings, my sister.

    By His Grace

  2. Thank you for visiting my 365 days of focus blog. I truly enjoyed yours. I just watch a 3 part series call “Creatures That Defy Evolution” by Dr. Jobe Martin, so my answer to your question would have to be animals that can’t be explained any other way except creation.

  3. Hi Julie,
I could add “everything around us. Everything all of our senses take in”. And also our “heart sense” that KNOWS God is there – and loves us.
love to you friend and sister,

  4. Love
    The ability to admire beauty
The ability to have a sense of wonder
    Blood clotting
Decay, for without it, there would be a lot of dead stuff hanging around!
    Male and female
